Christmas Stocking distribution project:

The purpose of the Stocking Project is to bring joy, love and hope to orphaned, abandoned & imprisoned kids. We play Santa Claus for a few days, Hand deliver Christmas Stockings full of love & hugs to kids who will otherwise receive nothing this Christmas.The trips normally take place at the beginning of December each year.

In 2007 The Men of Fabric D workshop in Mountjoy Prison made over 1,000 Zest4Kidz Christmas Stockings for delivery to children in need in India and Belarus. Many thanks are due to Governor Lonergan, Ms Lennon and the men for their kind gesture. This was a real hand stretched across the ocean as some of these Stockings were delivered to a young girls prison in Belarus. To view please click on the link below. 

In Zest4Kidz every Orphanage, Street Shelter, Prison or Child Soldier centre we have visited receive a Zest4Kidz Christmas Stocking hand delivered with love and hugs from a Zest4Kidz volunteer.

Some great things to pack in your Christmas Stocking are:

A warm wool hat, scarf, gloves. Toothpaste & Toothpaste. Bar of soap. Roll on deodorant. Hair clips/bands/bobbins. A small toy. A small book. Pens and colours or markers. Jotters. Colouring books. Small games, snakes & ladders or such like. Sweets (individually wrapped only) No chocolate. A Christmas card from you.
