Testimonial of a Child Prisoner
"The Irish team came with great fun and joy. I did not know what to expect. We are not used to such singing and dancing. It has been a long time since we see such things. We enjoyed the self defence and football the best. The discussion groups are very interesting and we hear about life outside the prison which we like very much. I hope they come back some day. We learn we have friends we did not know before. We learn if we make better choices in our lives, life can be better." Sergie 15 years old.

Children's Prisons It's hard to believe in our world there are children who have been put in prisons- but it's true. We are committed in Zest4Kidz to reach these kids and try and help them to straighten out their lives and show them they are not alone. Zest4Kidz is currently working with a children's prison in Belarus the former Soviet Block. These kids are victims of their society and culture. They may be in prison for as little as robbing food to survive. Alcohol plays a large part of the problems in this society and children are often locked up and receive little or no rehabilitation. Zest4kidz are committed to bring hope and love to these children. We work with the guards and staff of these places challenging them in our unique "second chance" programme. This programme allows the guards be encouraged as well as the kids. Our team of volunteers use football/art & Crafts/self defence/discussion groups/music & dance to show the kids a great time This is a unique programme with exceptional results. If you would like to be part of a team to make a difference in the lives of one of these children please contact us
